An Android KitKat Easter Egg BootAnimation by me

I was bored and decided to make a KitKat Easter Egg Bootanimation for my phone so that I can flaunt KitKat while booting the device too. :D
I pretty much liked the outcome so thought of sharing it with all of you.

The size of the zip is big for a bootanimation (32mb) because all the images used are of full 1280x720 resolution.

Can be used on the Nexus One, Galaxy Nexus, Nexus 4, Nexus 5, and all other rooted Android phones having the resolution around 720p.

Installation:
To install, simply copy the zip file to system/media and give the permissions as rw-r-r (ie 644)

The video doesn't look too good as it's just for 5 seconds. But believe me it looks fantastic as the bootanimation on the phone because I have looped it.

How I met my idol, Virender Sehwag

I still remember the day when I met Sehwag (Dec 5, 2009). Two days ago on December 3, Sehwag walked into the Brabourne Stadium (Mumbai) to start playing one of his most memorable knocks in test cricket. I was in college, and around 12 noon some of my friends messaged me saying that Viru is on fire and just reached 100. I was happy, but at the same time envious as my friends were in the stadium watching him bat live. Well, there was no chance I could bunk my college on that day as we had a set of 3 mandatory attendance days from Dec 2 to Dec 4. Also, I had my Physics Practical Session starting at 3 pm, and thus I couldn't watch the knock on my TV or laptop either. Thus it unfortunately became impossible for me to keep up with the live updates. At around 2:30 pm, my friends texted me again saying that Viru crossed the 200 run mark. My excitement was over the moon, and I requested my professors for a reschedule, but sadly that could not happen and I missed most part of that inning.

My favorite cricketer, Virender Sehwag gets the ICC test cricketer of the year award

Yesterday, the ICC Awards 2010 took place in Bangalore. All the Indians had huge expectations from the two greatest cricketers India has ever produced, Sachin Tendulkar and Virender Sehwag. My idol, Sehwag was nominated in two categories. ICC Cricketer of the year ICC Test Cricketer of the year Sehwag couldn't win the ICC Cricketer of the year, but he managed to proudly receive the award for the best cricketer in the original format of the cricket game, the tests. After receiving the award, Viru said, " It's fantastic to win the award, to take over the title from Gautam Gambhir,  I think I got motivated when Gambhir got this award last time, I was discussing with him that I hope I get it this time and I got it. Thank you, but I refuse to do the Ice Bucket Challenge

I was nominated and was excited about the ALS IceBucketChallenge, but I have decided not to do it now for several reasons, the biggest reason being that the real motive of the challenge has now faded away and it has become more of a gimmick right now. No offence to the people who have completed the challenge, it requires great strength to complete the task and so I am very proud of you! Around 200 people taking up the Ice Bucket Challenge in Boston But instead of doing the Ice Bucket Challenge, I have rather decided to do something that really does count for the welfare of the people suffering from ALS.
